Circulation Procedures

Indiana prevention and treatment professionals, including teachers, counselors, coalition-leaders, government officials, etc., may borrow up to 3 AV items (DVDs, VHS tapes, CD-ROMs) at a time from the IPRC library at no charge. Other adult Indiana residents may borrow one item at a time. Materials may be kept for one week.

The IRPC ships materials at our expense to patrons outside of the Bloomington area. To request materials, contact the circulation supervisor, Naomi Pardue at 812-855-1237 or npardue@indiana.edu. To allow for packing and shipping time, please make your request at least 5 working days before the items are needed. The IPRC also pays for return shipping and makes arrangement for pick-up. Follow instructions included with the shipment to be sure that items are packed and ready for pick-up on the return date. Local users may also visit the IRPC during regular business hours (8-5 Monday-Friday) to pick up and return materials in person. (Ask at reception to speak to Naomi or Carole, either of whom will be happy to assist you.)

If the title you are interested in is only available on VHS, and you do not have the ability to play VHS tapes, the IPRC may be able to do a VHS to DVD transfer of the item. For this service, allow an additional 5 working days.
