Indiana Priority Drug Series
Seven drugs have been identified as priorities for substance abuse prevention in Indiana. Attend this series to gain an understanding of each of the priority drugs: alcohol, cocaine, heroin, marijuana, methamphetamine, prescription drugs and tobacco. Priority drugs were
determined by the Indiana State Epidemiology and Outcomes Workgroup (SEOW).
Topics include: administration, history, trends in use, cultural influences, consumption patterns, relationships to crime and violence, manufacturing, physical and behavioral effects, health consequences, and prevention and treatment methods.
